Vegan Poet
& Writer

Paul Graeme Holroyd

Vegan Poet and performer

Paul was well into his fifties before poetry found him. It started after he attended a protest outside MBR Acres puppy breeding facility in Cambridgeshire, UK.  Here beagle puppies are bred and sent to laboratories to be experimented on and ultimately killed.

Paul wrote a short poem about this, then another animal rights poem followed but it wasn't until he quit work, bought a van to live in and started travelling the UK volunteering on animal sanctuaries and other places in need of help that his mind was free and the poems kept coming.  Poems about animal rights and many other subjects.

He can often be found at vegan or poetry events around the UK sharing his verse.

BOOKS

All books by P G Holroyd can be found at most online bookstores as well as Amazon and Kindle or direct from the author by messaging through this website.

Hardcovers are only available from Amazon or from Paul Holroyd direct by leaving a message through this website.

Direct from the author is the cheapest option as Amazon don't get a cut.

If you see Paul at any vegan or poetry event he will probably have books and c.d.'s available.

As well as the GreenBeard's Vegan Verse and Poetry of Life books and anthologies, there is...

'What If it was us?', a short story seen through the eyes of human animals being treated as non-human animals are treated in our world.

'Holroyd's Halloween poem book', a collection of horror/spooky poems taken from both the vegan and other poetry books. This book is designed to be used as a greetings card which can be kept. (Adult content)

'GreenBeard's Christmas poem book', a collection of Xmas poems both vegan and other designed to be used like a Xmas card that can be kept. There are 10 'veganised' Xmas carols at the back of the book.

There is now also a cd available, 'GreenBeard's Vegan Verse', a collection of 55 vegan/animal rights poems read to you by the author. These audio discs are only available direct from the author by messaging  through this website or through FB or Instagram. (Or from Paul in person)
